Lars grew up skiing Vermont’s legendary Mad River Glen. Always the first to the hill and the last off, Lars developed strong technical skills while chasing around local ski patrol turned pro Dylan Crossman. Upon graduating from high school, Lars moved west and began exploring and adapting his style to big mountain skiing. Freeride competitions followed shortly thereafter where Lars’ presence was immediately noticed as one of the premier skiers on the circuit.

My father always said, “A Skier caries his own skis.” - so I learned how to carry my batman skies by the age of two and have been skiing ever since. I grew up skiing at Sugarbush, Mad River Glen and innumerable backyard jumps.† After high school I began my 8 year mechanical engineering plan at the University of Vermont where I study during the fall semester and then take a skiing sabbatical for the entire winter. My strength as a skier is versatility. I learned to ski on firm east coast bumps, ice jumps and tight trees. I grew up on the slopes and was instilled with a deep passion and respect for my surroundings by those very same mountains. Three years ago, I hitched a ride west and have been here every winter since.
Chuck grew up ski racing on Mount Mansfield’s icy slopes. He moved west to pursue ski racing at the University of Colorado. Chucks adventuresome, easy going attitude led him away from the training gates and into the mountains. His competitive side led him to freeskiing competitions where he was hooked after placing 2nd at the Taos Extreme Freeskiing Championships. Since then Chuck has qualified for every IFSA event he has entered. His love of skiing, Jackson Hole and freeriding is big as life and the smile on his face. Chuck is one of those riders that everyone wants to be around. He pushes people not only to ski better but to have the time of their life while they’re doing it.
